Introducing San Jose Chiropractor Dr. Philip Dieter

I have been surrounded by chiropractic my whole life.

At a young age I believed that chiropractic was a path to follow. After many years of education and a career in the semiconductor industry, I came to the realization that it was time to fulfill my chiropractic dream.

I graduated from California Polytechnic University, San Luis Obispo in 1998 with a degree in agribusiness. After spending some time in the work force I decided to enroll in Life West Chiropractic College in the fall of 2003. I graduated in September 2006 and received the award for clinical excellence, in addition to my academic honor of magna cum laude.

We want every patient that comes into our office to understand that health comes from within. The location, detection, and correction of the vertebral subluxation is the primary objective of every office visit. I pay special attention the upper cervical complex of the human spine and it’s relationship to the controlling functions of the brainstem. This correction not only results in the resolution of patient symptoms, but creates a level of overall well being that may not have been realized before.

You may have realized that I am in practice with my father. I currently live in Morgan Hill, California. I enjoy athletics, and I spend time with my father riding horses.

I receive chiropractic care on a regular basis, and exercise five or six times a week. I make every effort to eat right, supplement accordingly and follow the guiding principles of the chiropractic philosophy. If and when a situation was to arise, I think “Chiropractic First”.

I look forward to the opportunity to be of service to you. Please take a few minutes to look through the information on our site. We have many online education alternatives for you. If you have any further question, feel free to give us a call or come in for a consultation.

A.C.C. Asks some important questions of interest to San Jose residents - Chiropractor San Jose A.C.C. Asks...

What causes subluxations?
Chiropractors acknowledge three types of stress: physical, chemical and emotional. When the adaptive capacity of your body is compromised, weakened areas along the spine can become involved. Muscles tighten, spinal joints lock up and nearby nerves are affected. The purpose of chiropractic care is to find these areas and restore balance, alignment and motion.
What's a side effect?
It may sound like a bonus; something extra, but chiropractors know it should more accurately called an "unintended effect," and "unwanted effect" or in some cases an "adverse effect." A pill can't come close to matching your body's ability to create and deliver the essential compounds it needs. That's when it's important to make sure your nervous system is working correctly—the purpose of chiropractic care!
